copy of the manufacturer's guarantee is included in every shipment.
Elegant Locks will support all verified requests for performance in
accordance with guarantees. The consumer, however, must file the initial
request.
We
want every customer to be pleased with the products delivered to you.
Each sale comes with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not
satisfied with your purchase, we will exchange it for you or we will
refund your money, less restocking charge, provided:
1. You
request and obtain a return authorization number from us within 30
days after receipt of merchandise
2. The product has not been installed and is returned in the package
originally supplied by the manufacturer in new, re-salable condition
3. You return all parts that were included when the product was shipped
to you
4. The returned product is received by Elegant Locks within 15 days
after the return authorization number was issued
If the
return was caused by a mistake by the manufacturer or by Elegant Locks,
shipping costs will be refunded up to the amount of standard UPS land
rates.
If
the return is not because of manufacturer or Elegant Locks error,
there will be a restocking fee of 25% of the purchase price, excluding
freight and keying charges, and this fee can be up to 100% if the
resale of the returned merchandise is threatened by damages to the
product or its packaging.
To apply
for a return authorization number, simply complete the Return Request
Form and click on "submit". We will respond quickly. Elegant
Locks will not accept delivery of return packages that do not have
an authorization number.
A
shipping charge of $8.95 will be added to each order for delivery
within the lower 48 states. Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, and locations
outside the United States will be charged standard UPS rates.
The
Elegant Locks shopping cart system uses SSL Encryption Technology
to protect the transmission of your order and your credit card information.
This system is proven over and over again as millions of transactions
are handled securely each day.
Elegant
Locks maintains in absolute confidentiality all customer names, postal
and email addresses, phone numbers and any other information that
could conceivably be used to contact you or violate your privacy in
any way.
An unseen
"tag" or "cookie" is attached to most online transactions.
Such tags are used by Elegant Locks for the sole purpose of collecting
statistical information. This information, for example, can tell us
which browser or other online service company is the most effective
in getting prospective customers to click onto our web page. We need
such information to be able to allocate our promotional or advertising
funds wisely. We guard all information gleaned from these sources
just like we guard your personal address and phone numbers. We do
not release or sell it to anyone.
